Attorneys
Gweyn Thomas grew up in Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Wilkes University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Gweyn joined the ICS Law Group in 2005 and is currently managing the firm’s Estate Planning and Estate Administration practice. She is involved in various networking organizations, and is currently serving as Board President of the Nashville Aquatic Club. Gweyn lives in Brentwood and is very involved in the activities of her two teenage children.
Matt Cottingham joined the ICS Law Group in 2009. Matt received a Bachelor of Science in Recording Industry Management from Middle Tennessee State University and received his law degree from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Matt is licensed to practice in Tennessee. He specializes in entertainment law. Matt lives in West Nashville with his wife, Regina.
Gaylord E. Gardner III graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in Biochemistry and from the College of Law at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Concentration in Business Transactions. He joined the ICS Law Group in August of 2005. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee and currently manages the firm’s Business Services practice. Gaylord is involved in the a number of professional networking groups in the Brentwood and Franklin area and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce. He is married and has two children and lives with his family in Franklin, Tennessee.
Linas Sudzius founded the practice in 2002 after a career in the life insurance business. Linas is a nationally recognized writer and speaker on topics related to estate planning and business continuation planning. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Tennessee. Linas serves as Board Chair for the Brentwood Family YMCA, and is active in the Brentwood Rotary. He also lives in Brentwood with his wife Cathy, and their two children Amber and Brandon.
Office Staff
Mary Marshall, Office Manager, is a Nashville native. She attended John Overton High School and graduated from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mary started with the ICS Law Group in January 2006. She has two daughters, Kelly and Katie, son-in-law Craig, and granddaughter Reagan.
Lisa Westbrook joined ICS Law Group in September 2010 and is the Director of Client Relations for Advanced Underwriting Consultants, an advanced sales consulting firm. She was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Nashville in May of 2007. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Economics in May of 2010. In her spare time she loves to watch and play soccer, enjoy live music, and go on adventures.
